8. ENGINE OVERHAULING

A. ENGINE DIS-ASSEMBLY

i. ON OVERHAUL STAND

1. After removing the engine assembly from the

vehicle, keep that engine on engine support

stand.

SPECIAL TOOL



Engine Support Stand -: 5438 5890 2402

2. Remove the alternator belt from the pulley

using the special tool.

3. Remove the compressor belt from the pulley

using the special tool.

4. Remove alternator support bracket mounting

bolt.

5. Remove the mounting bolts of the support

bracket and release the alternator assembly

from the mounting bracket.
