iii. REMOVAL OF INTAKE MANIFOLD
1. Remove the mounting bracket and the H.P.
fuel line connected to the fuel rail by removing
its mounting fasteners.
2. Remove the fasteners of bracket for dipstick
tube mounting.
3. Remove the mounting fasteners of the air
intake elbow and remove the elbow along with
throttle valve assembly and, air temperature
sensor connected to it.
NOTE
Cover the opening of the fuel rail with suitable
plugs.
4. Loosen and remove the mounting fasteners
and take out the intake manifold assembly.
5. Remove the glow plugs from the cylinder head
using suitable tools.
6. Disconnect the back leak hose assembly.
7. Remove the high pressure fuel lines
connecting the fuel injectors.
