Sensor

Reference

Voltage “B”

Circuit Low.

H

1. Engine may be not start upon cranking

(as cam sensor does not get power).

2. EGR is disabled;

3. Reduced torque Mode.

4. Pedal reduction (P1121) is set. (as pedal

track 2 is powered by this supply)

5. Erratic behavior of sensors (e.g. acc

pedal track 2 reading).

6. This DTC also causes faults related to

cam sensor and Acc pedal track 1 faults

getting registered (as these sensors are

powered by supply voltage 2).

This DTC gets logged if the

Voltage 2 is less than lower

threshold.

1. Check the connection of

sensors supplied by

Reference voltage1 and

Reference voltage2.

2. Check sensor connections

for rust dirt etc.

3. Check ECU.

1. Check whether the EMS ecu pin 78 (CAM sensor

& Pedal sensor 1 supply pin) is open circuited to

pedal sensor connector/CAM sensor connector or

pin 78 is Short circuited to ground. If so then rectify

the wiring harness connections.

2. Check sensor connections for rust dirt etc.;

Follow rectification process of concerned sensor if

faulty (cam sensor; accelerator pedal sensor track

2).

3. Check ECU; Replace ECU; if problem persists

4. Confirmatory check after rectification. Check with

diagnostic tool if the sensor supply voltage lies in

between 4.75 V to 5.35 V.

Fan 1 Control

Circuit Low.

M

1. AC is not functioning – AC Off.

2. Radiator fan will remain run continuously.

3. MIL is ON.

4. Reduced Torque active.

This DTC gets logged if the

Low speed fan (Top fan)

control - short circuit to

ground.

1. Check the fan control relay

connection.

2. Check electrical continuity.

3. Check ECU.

1. Check the fan control relay connection; Perform

necessary repairs if connection is faulty.

2. Check electrical continuity between ECU pin 66

to Relay connector as per circuit schematic;

Replace relay if problem persists. And perform

actuator test.check whether he ecu pin 66 is short

circuited to ground. If so hen recify he wiring

harness connections.

3. Check ECU; Replace ECU; if problem persists.

4. Confirmatory check after rectification Perform

Actuator test for fan and visually checks that fan is

operating. Also ensure radiator fan is rotating is

right direction.
