P0574
Cruise Control
System –
Vehicle Speed
Too High.
Cancellation of cruise control.
Vehicle speed superior or
inferior to cruise speed.
1. Check for existence of any
over speed conditions in the
environmental data.
1. Cruise control function will be reactivated once
the speed falls below the upper cruise speed
threshold.

Cruise Control
Input Circuit.
Cancellation of cruise control.
Cruise master; resume;
coast and cancel switch
electrical faults.
1. Check for the Cruise Tell-
tale lamp at key on condition.
2. Check Cruise control
switches like Master switch;
cancel; acc resume etc. for
proper functioning.
3. Check electrical wiring
connections to these
switches for discontinuity.
1. Replace Faulty switch.
2. Rectify/ Replace wiring.
3. Ensure Cruise Tell-tale lamp comes on at key on.

P0606
Control Module
Processor.
Erratic engine behavior.
Watch dog - ECU Reset.
1. Check the ECU Earth.
(Check star washer; check
whether the earthing is not
fully covered by Body paint).
2. Check ECU.
1. Ensure proper earthing.
2. Replace ECU; if problem still persists.

Immobilizer Key
Not
Programmed –
ECM/PCM.
Engine will not start.
Pairing of EMS and
Immobilizer is not done.
1. Check for correct match
between EMS-ECU and
Immobilizer ECU.
Do Pairing as per recommended procedure.

Sensor
Reference
Voltage “A”
Circuit Low.
H
1. Reduced torque mode activated.
2. Engine may not start; if already running
then stops after few seconds.
3. Engine vibrates;
4. RVD is disabled.
5. EGR is disabled;
6. IMV operates without any trim correction
7. Injector balancing is disabled.
8. Prevents high pressure leak detection.
9. Rail pressure demand is limited to 800
bar.
10. Disables Rail pressure build
measurement.
11. Disables Rail pressure control fault
detection.
12. This fault will cause many other faults
related to rail pr sensor; Acc pedal track 1;
AMF; T-Map etc. to get registered; As these
sensors are powered by supply voltage 1.
This DTC gets logged if the
sensor supply Voltage 1 is
less than lower threshold.
1. Check the connection of
sensors supplied by
Reference voltage1 and
Reference voltage2.
2. Check sensor connections
for rust dirt etc.
3. Check ECU.
1. Check the connection/continuity of sensors
powered by sensor supply Voltage 1(rail pressure,
accelerator pedal sensor
2, Air mass flow sensor, EGR position feedback)
Follow sensor supply voltage1 check /rectification
process. Check whether ecu pins 75/76/77 are
short circuited to ground. If so, then rectify the
wiring harness connections.
2. Check sensor connections for rust dirt etc.;
Follow rectification process of concerned sensor if
faulty.
3. Check ECU; Replace ECU; if problem still
persists.
4. Confirmatory check after rectification. Check with
diagnostic tool if the sensor supply voltage lies in
between 4.75 V to 5.35 V.
