Circuit.

L

1. No critical effect.

This DTC gets logged if the

MI lamp fault – OC.

1. Check instrument cluster.

2. Check electrical continuity

to MI lamp.

3. Check ECU.

1. Check if the bulb inside MI lamp is fuse

2. Check instrument cluster

3. Check electrical continuity between ECU pin 67

to Dashboard cluster connector as per circuit

schematic; follow electrical continuity check

procedure; Replace/rectify harness if required.

4. Check ECU; Replace ECU; if problem still

persists.

5. Confirmatory check after rectification. Check if

the MI lamp is coming on for 3 sec at the time of

ignition on for re-confirmation (before handing over

the vehicle).

Malfunction

Indicator Lamp

(MIL) Control

Circuit.

L

1. No critical effect.

This DTC gets logged if the

MI lamp fault - Short circuit

(SC) to Ground.

1. Check the connection of

sensors supplied by

Reference voltage 1 and

Reference voltage 2.

2. Check sensor connections

for rust dirt etc.

3. Check ECU.

1. Check instrument cluster

2. Check whether the EMS ecu pin 67 is short

circuited to ground. If so then rectify the wiring

harness connections.

3. Check ECU; Replace ECU; if problem still

persists.

4. Confirmatory check after rectification. Check if

the MI lamp is coming on for 3 sec at the time of

ignition on for re-confirmation (before handing over

the vehicle).

Circuit/Open.

M

1. Engine will not start

2. Cannot communicate with the ECU.

This DTC gets logged if the

ECU main power supply

relay gets stuck.

1. Check the connection of

the supply relay.

2. Check sensor connections

for rust dirt etc.

3. Check ECU.

1. Check the connection of the supply relay and

rectify if any wrong connections are found; if relay is

not functioning; Replace relay.

2. Check connector for rust dirt etc.; Follow

rectification process of concerned sensor if faulty.

3. Check ECU; Replace ECU; if problem still

persists.
