26. Remove Outer race cylindrical roller bearing
of lay shaft from front housing with the help of
puller 5438 5980 2603.
27. Remove Outer race cylindrical roller bearing
of Input shaft from front housing with the help
of puller 5438 5980 2603.
NOTE: SHIMS SHOULD NOT BE REUSED.
NOTE:
1. Apply anabond 112 on threads of all fasteners
2. Apply silicon liquid gasket anabond 690 on
housing interface.
3. The chips collected by magnetic drain plug,
are to be removed at the time of every oil
change.
4. Keep inner and outer races of taper roller
bearing in sets.
5. Use sealing anaerobic compound for all oil
seals outer diameter.
6. For oil seals of input drive shaft and bellows
use anabond 112.
INPUT SHAFT DISASSEMBLY
1. Fix input shaft assembly on vice with adaptor
bush. & remove Locking Screw.
2. Install support plate 5438 5890 2602.
3. Place input shaft assembly on hydraulic press
with support plate & press input shaft as
shown. Hold input shaft from bottom.
4. Take out 6

gear, gear bushes, synchro
cones, needle cage, shifter sleeve & support
plate separated from input shaft from press.
