C. FRONT EXHAUST PIPE

(BETWEEN CCC AND

PRE-SLIENCER)

REMOVAL

1. Remove the Stone guard. (

For procedure refer

body section.

)

Loosen and remove the Front Silencer pipe

mounting bolts

(2 Nos.)

from CCC outlet side.

3. Loosen and remove the bolts

(3) (2 Nos.)

and

remove the front exhaust pipe with bellow

(1).

4. Loosen and remove mounting bolts

(

2 Nos.))

from the pre silencer side and remove the ex-

haust pipe (2) from rubber hanger (5) and

disconnect it from pre silencer.

FITMENT

For fitment follow the reverse procedure of removal.

NOTE

Use new gaskets every time while fitment and tight-

en nuts and bolts to specified torque.

D. CLOSE COUPLED CATALYTIC CONVERTER

REMOVAL

1. Remove the Air filter assembly for easy access

(For removal refer Air filter removal process in

Overhauling section)

2. Loosen & remove heat shield mounting screw &

remove heat shield

from close coupled cata-

lytic converter.

3. Loosen & remove the mounting screw of close

coupled catalytic converter (

3 Nos

.) on the inter-

mediate bracket.

4. Loosen and remove the lower mounting Front

Silencer pipe mounting bolts

(2 Nos.)

from CCC

outlet side.
