10. DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBL:
A. DISMANTLING:
1. Fix the differential in the bench vice.
2. Remove the rear half housing side bearing
ball bearing using the tool.

PULLER FOR REMOVAL OF DIFFERENTIAL
BRG.
3. Similarly remove the front half side bearing
using the same tool.
4. Take out the vehicle speed detect gear. Do
not damage the speed gear, if damaged,
replace it while refitting.
5. Unscrew and remove the housing bolt below
the dowel pin, remove the dowel, using the
opening made available due to removal of the
bolt.
6. Take out the spider from differential housing
and remove the side bevel pinion gears from
differential housing.
7. First take out the top bevel gear from the cage
and remove the shim from it, followed by the
bottom bevel gear and its shim.
