4. Place the two bevel gears with washers in
the differential cage.
5. Place the two bevel gears with washers in
the differential cage.
6. Insert the spider through the cage and then
through the bevel pinions. Make sure that the
slot in the spider is aligned with the slot in the
cage.
NOTE:
Bevel gears and bevel pinions are
interchangeable as a set only and not
individually.
Make sure that the Bevel gears and
pinions are rotating
.
7. Measure the backlash using a dial gauge; it
should be within 0.0 ~ 0.1 mm. Backlash can be
adjusted varying the bevel gear washers.
8. Insert the dowel sleeve, to lock the spider to
the cage.
9. Insert the dowel sleeve, to lock the spider to
