30. Loosen the 10 converter housing screws

using a H14 wrench.

31. Carefully lower the transmission from the

vehicle. Do not touch the flex plate.

WARNING

:

Damage to the flex plate could involve in

malfunction of engine and or transmission.

Insure clearance is maintained between the

transmission and the following:

-Vehicle wiring harness.

-Vehicle to transmission cooler pipes.

32. Tilt slightly the transmission backward to

avoid converter fall out.

33. Install the transmission on Hanger for

Lifting Gear Box (287058902616).

34. Loosen the rear mount transmission nuts

using a H14 wrench.

35. Remove the rear mount from transmission.

36. Loosen the speed sensor screw by using a

H12 wrench.
