10. Repeat operation for each of the 6 screws
and discard the screws.
11. Before removing the last bolt, push it slightly
to loose converter from flex plate and to move
converter backward in transmission.
12. Loosen and remove the Hexagonal M8 screw
of anchoring bracket.
NOTE:
Make sure Gear shifter lever which is fitted in
driver cabin is in park mode by shifting lever
towards front of vehicle.
13. Properly locate the fixture plate (Part No:
2870 5890 26 21) in removed hexagonal M8
screw of anchoring bracket hole and gear shift
lever assembly with Across Flat area of pivot
pin as shown below. Then again insert the M8
screw and give 2kgfm of torque.
14. Release the torque of Hexagonal M12 thin nut
of Pivot pin.
WARNING:
Do not bend the shift cable when opening the shift
linkage adjustment nut.
15. Loosen the shifter cable nut and remove
cable string from anchoring bracket slot.
Precaution to be taken while removing the
shifter cable not to damage the rubber
components.
16. Disconnect the vehicle connector.
17. Remove the speed-sensor connector on
converter housing.
