Remove the breather. Remove the six bolts.

Remove the adapter by separating the adapter sealer bond (Pry front adapter, take care not to damage the

adapter or the case.)

Remove the adapter assembly, input shaft assembly and carrier gear assembly.

Remove snap ring, and oil seal from front adapter. After removing snap ring, pull out the bearing and thrust washer

form input shaft assembly and separate the input shaft assembly from carrier group assembly.

Remove the needle bearing and sleeve bearing from input shaft assembly.

Remove the retainer ring, thrust plate and sun gear from the planet carrier assembly. Do not disassemble the

planet carrier assembly.
