10. Loosen and remove the mounting fasteners of
the thermostat housing assembly and take it
out.
11. Remove the Oil Filter assembly by using
Special Tool.
SPECIAL TOOL
Oil Filter Spanner - 5424 5890 18 02
NOTE
Ensure Oil Spillage to be collected in oil
pan.
12. Remove front and rear lifting hook from
cylinder head by removing its mounting bolts.
III. Removal of Oil Sump
1. Drain the engine oil in oil pan.(In cold
condition)
2. Remove the oil dip stick.
3. Rotate the engine at 180
0
for removal of oil
sump.
4. Loosen and remove the stiffener brackets
mounting bolts and remove the bracket.
5. Remove the bolts on the oil sump.
