h. Select the correct CAN Node Configuration ($2E 4019 DATA) as per the VC number

(Please refer to Parameterization number

in Look up table or as per R16 server

).

i. Select the correct Passenger SBR Switch & Chime ($2E 401A DATA) as per the VC

number (Please refer to Parameterization number

in Look up table or as per R16

server

).

j.

Please give ECU soft reset (11 01),

instead of taking out ignition key from vehicle.

k. Clear DTC’s & check for DTC’s

l. Go to extended session (10 03) & Get security access for the Airbag ECU with the dll

(using production key in build in service tool).

m. Unlock ECU (Enable Firing) using $2E 40 13 service

n. Turn OFF and ON ignition. (Take out the vehicle key to ensure proper power latch).

o. Clear DTC’s and check for DTC’s.

p. Check the Warning Lamp in Instrument Cluster. (

After prove out SRS warning lamp

should be off in Instrument Cluster, if no faults are qualified in SRS ECU

)

q. Read ECU data after successful writing and compare it with PLM server data for the

respective VC:

1. VIN (Vehicle Identification) number ($22 F1 90)

2. ECU installation date ($22 F1 9D)

3. ECU assembly number ($22 72 34)

4. ECU parameterization number ($22 72 44)

5. System Configuration ($22 40 10)
