17. Turn crankshaft to bring piston to top bottom
dead center.
NOTE
While inserting piston connecting rod
assembly, ensure that crankshaft should
not damage due to connecting rod
assembly.
18. Assemble the connecting rod bearing caps
along with bearing shells.
19. Tighten the mounting nuts holding the
connecting rod bearing caps.
NOTE
Rotate the engine block at 180
0
Measure piston projection above crankcase with
the help of piston topping dial gauge
III. Assembly of Cylinder Head Sub-
Assemblies
NOTE
Ensure the readings are within the
specified limits.
1. Move the valve spring compressor rail to the
exhaust side of the cylinder head.

2. Assemble the Intake valve to respective
location to cylinder head.
3. Place the spring seat.
