G. ADAPTER, INPUT SHAFT AND CARRIER
ASSEMBLY
1. Remove five bolts of adapter.
2. Remove the adapter by separating the adapter
sealer bond
(Pry front adapter, take care not to
damage the adapter or the case).
3. Expand long ends of the snap ring using snap
ring plier
(Part No. 2870 5890 26 03)
and pull
out the input shaft assembly from the adapter.
4. Remove the oil seal

from front adapter
(2)
.
5. Remove snap ring by using a tool.
6. Pull out the bearing
(1)
with suitable puller and
remove the spacer
(2)
from the input shaft.
