6. Push up the plug.

NOTE:

The seal diameter becomes smaller, so that it is

easier to remove the fluid fill tube.

7. Discard the fluid fill tube.

8. Insert the new fluid fill tube on the main case

hole.

9. Press the cap plug to fix the plug in the case.

Transmission Fluid Level after repairs

procedure:

NOTE:

The vehicle is supposed to be on hoist, lifted,

transmission protections removed.

1. Remove the fluid fill tube. See Transmission

Fluid Fill Tube Removing & Installing

Procedure.

2. Add transmission fluid through the fluid fill

hole.

NOTE:

The approximate amount of fluid needed to fill the

transmission, based on the repair performed is:

- 6.5 to 7 LITRES for each repair when fluid pan

is removed.

- 1 LITRE if converter is removed.

- 0.85 LITRE if transmission cooling circuit is

flushed.

3. Fill the transmission until fluid start to drip out

of fluid fill hole.

4. Install the fluid fill tube. See Transmission

Procedure.

5. Pull vehicle down.

6. Perform the fluid level. See Transmission fluid

level checking procedure.
