38. Slide the bush of 6
th
gear on to the counter
shaft and measure the exact thickness of
counter shaft circlip so that 6
th
gear bush
moment is completely arrested.
NOTE:
After selection of counter shaft circlip, remove the
bush.
39. Slide the 6
th
gear along with it bush and
needle bearing on counter shaft.
40. Place the selected circlip on the counter shaft
and ensure the proper fitment of circlip on
counter shaft.
41. Slide the 6
th
gear on main shaft.
