49. Measure the axial play (Float value) of the
counter shaft sub assembly and should be 0.2
mm to 0.5 mm.
50. Place the gasket over the housing parting
surface. Align the dowel pins and place the
gearbox housing – Rear half over the
intermediate plate and tap gently with mallet.
51. Tighten the nuts to the tightening torque of
5kg-m.
52. Tighten the detent plugs with springs and
spherical detents to the tightening torque of
2.5kg-m.
53. Control dimension is to be measure as per
shim selection procedure as given below:
A. Remove the front gear case cover.
