For 4X4 version

(If Applicable)

Lock the end yoke assembly with other end of the

special tool (Part No. 2894 5890 35 17), loosen and

remove the end yoke nut by holding it with sprocket

(Part No. 2698 5890 41 01) and then pull out the end

yoke with the help of standard puller.

NOTE

Same tool has to be used for 4X2 and 4X4

7. Remove the plug which is at the bottom side of

rear cover assembly.

(For 4X2 Version only)

NOTE

If the plug is not removed, it is not possible to re-

move the 5th/ Reverse selector head from the shifter

shaft because the spiral pin has no space for its re-

moval.

8. Push out the spiral pins of (6x24) from the shifter

shafts and free the shifter heads from their re-

spective shafts.

9. Loosen and remove nuts (13 Nos.) connecting

rear cover to rear housing and take out the rear

cover along with the selector heads.

(For 4X2

Version only)

NOTE

For 4X4 Version (If Applicable)

Loosen and remove outer nuts (1) (12Nos.) and in-

side nuts (2) (06 Nos.) on connection adaptor

housing to the rear half and take out the adaptor

along with selector heads.

NOTE

Remove oil seal in case of 4X4
