5. When rotor is hard to remove by hand, use mag-

netic clutch puller to remove it.



Be sure to use magnetic clutch pulley remover.

As there is a possibility that the push stick of the

puller can damage the compressor shaft if directly

mounted on it.



The push rod of the gear puller should not be

turned too forcibly, or the rotor may be deformed.

6. Remove the wiring bracket fixing screw by using

(Phillips screw driver (+))

(1), and disconnect the

connector

(2).

7. Remove the snap ring

(1)

of the field coil using

snap ring pliers

(2).

WARNING

Care should be taken while removing the snap ring

by preventing it from jumping out; otherwise it may

cause serious injuries.

8. Pry the field coil

(1)

with a flat-tip screwdriver, to

remove it from the compressor body.
