6. Support the tailgate assembly, loosen and
remove the mounting bolts and disconnect the
balancer from the shell.
7. Remove the top hinge mounting of the tail gate
by removing two mounting bolts. Follow the
same procedure at the other end and separate
the tail gate from the vehicle.
ASSEMBLY:
For assembly follow the reverse procedure of
removal.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the tail gate trim.

2. Disconnect the link between latch and the tail
gate actuator.
