SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS)

4. Now slowly push the PAB module up side & sim-

ultaneously tilt it a bit & make the bag folding to-

wards up, facing chute channel.

5. Connect the PAB module connector.

NOTE

Connector needs to be assembled before air bag

module fitment with chute channel and CCB.

6. Properly locate the PAB module on chute channel

and tighten the mounting screws

(4 Nos.)

7. Tighten the mounting bolts of air bag bracket.

8. Fit the top utility bin assembly.

9. Connect the battery connections.

10.Connect the diagnostic tool and clear fault codes,

if any.

SIDE AIRBAG

(SAB)

Side-impact airbags are located in the seats and

inflate between the seat occupant and the door.

These airbags are designed to reduce the risk of

injury to the occupant.

ON VEHICLE SERVICE

REMOVAL

NOTE

Disconnect the vehicle battery and wait for 10 min

before commencing work on side airbag.
