3. Remove the legs of the bearing puller

(Part

No. 269858903540)

by removing the nuts and

bolts, remove the handle as well and install the

bearing puller

(without legs and handle)

on the

axle shaft, now press the bearing on axle shaft

by pressing bearing puller

(without legs and

handle).

4. Remove the nut from the brake assembly

bolts.

5. Put the thrust washer and lock washer while

aligning the same in the groove on axle shaft,

Install and tighten locknut manually.

NOTE

Discard the washer after removal and use new at

the time of assembly

6. Now put the locknut torqueing adaptor and

socket as done while removal.

NOTE

Tighten the lock nut with torque wrench and apply

the torque of 30 kg-m.

7. After torqueing bend the lock washer in at least

two of the slot on locknut.

8. Install toner ring and press fit on the axle shaft

in similar way that used for pressing the

bearing on axle shaft

(Refer press bearing

housing on axle shaft procedure)

till gets

Bottom out.

NOTE



Toner ring requires 700 to 1200 Kg-f force to

press fit.
