IDLE SPEED ACTUATOR

FUNCTION :

The idle speed of the engine has to be kept at the lowest possible speed so as to use the least amount of fuel

and reduced exhaust emissions.

WORKING :

Idle speed actuator automatically controls the idle speed of the engine at various operating conditions

and loads.

Additional loads are also accounted for like A/C, power steering, speed etc.

ECU transmits the signal to the idle speed actuator, which adjusts the desired idle speed by increasing

or decreasing the amount of air flow.
