8.4.5 FRONT FOG LAMP
The fog lamps are located in the lower part
of the front bumper. The bulb used for the fog lamp
function is a halogen H3 bulb, 12V - 55W.Fog lamp
on/off is done by using master light switch.
REMOVAL:
1.Remove the front bumper. (
Refer Body section
)
2.Disconnect the electrical connection of fog lamp.
3.From the back side of bumper remove the 3
mounting screws of fog lamp assembly.
4.Take out the fog lamp with bracket.
5.Remove the four screws of fog lamp assembly to
separate the fog lamp from fog lamp bracket.
6.Take out fog lamp.
REFITMENT:
1.Fit the fog lamp on bracket.
2.Fit the assembly in the cut out on the bumper.
3.Tighten the 3 mounting screws of fog lamp
assembly.
Tightening torque for screws – 0.6 kgm.
4.Connect the electrical connection.
5.Fit the front bumper.
BULB REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:
1.Remove the front bumper.(
Refer Body section
)
2.Disconnect the electrical connection.
3.Remove the bulb assembly by rotating in
anticlockwise direction.
4.Take out the bulb from holder and replace with
new one.
5.Fit the assembly by rotating in clockwise
direction.
6.Connect the electrical connection.
7.Fit the front bumper.
