1. MIL is ON.

2. Engine does not start.

3. Engine stops after few seconds.

4. Engine vibration and noise noticed.

5. Reduced torque mode [Restricted

performance.

6. Disables the Pilot injection;

7. Disables RVD.

8. Disables EGR.

9. IMV operates without trims.

10. Cylinder balancing is deactivated.

11. High pressure Leak detection test is

prevented.

12. IMV is fully open;

13. System Pressure is limited to 800 bar.

14. Rail pressure build measurement is

deactivated.

15. Disables the Rail pressure control fault

detection.

16. Rail pressure set to 800 bar.

This DTC gets logged if the

IMV drive electrical

connection is short circuited

across.

1. Check IMV connection.

Remove and check for

oxidation and damages.

2. Check IMV.

3. Check Electrical continuity.

4. Check ECU.

1. Check and ensure IMV connector is connected to

IMV.

2. Check IMV connector for oxidation and rust and

damages; clean the connector for rust; dirt etc.;

reconnect properly.

3. Check continuity between ECU pin 11 and IMV

connector as per circuit schematic; replace the

connector/harness if found faulty.

4. Check IMV; (Provide IMV internal resistance at

room temperature for checking).Replace IMV if

found faulty.

5. Check ECU; if problem still persist; replace the

ECU.

6. After rectification ensure the following before

handing over the vehicle to customer.

a) Please fit the IMV with its connector and

remove the ECU connector and ensure

continuity between IMV and ECU connector.

b) Perform actuator test for IMV.
