“B” Circuit High.
H
1. Reduced torque mode is activated;
2. Vehicle performance deterioration is
noticed.
3. Track 2 signal is more than 500 AD
counts
4. Pedal position taken as minimum of
Track 1 & Track – 2.
5. Pedal reduction (P1121) is set.
6. EGR is disabled.
1. This DTC gets logged if
the Track - 2 counts reads
by the sensor is more than
upper threshold.
2. Pedal connector is
removed from the sensor.
1. Check for vext 1 fault or If
P1120 is present.
2. Check sensor connections
for rust dirt etc.
3. Check Intermediate
connector.
4. Visually check sensor.
5. Check Electrical continuity.
6. Check ECU.
1. Check for Reference voltage 1 fault (P0642;
P0643) if present; Follow Reference voltage2
(sensor supply voltage1) check and rectification
Procedure; to correct this fault before proceeding
further
2. Check the pedal connector connected to the
pedal sensor/ module.
3. Check sensor connections for rust dirt etc; clean
the sensor connections and ensure proper fitment.
4. Check Intermediate connector; Remove
Intermediate connector between EMS harness and
vehicle wiring harness. Check for terminal back out.
Do necessary repairs reconnect and check the
fault.
5. Visually check sensor; Replace sensor if
damaged.
6. Check whether the EMS ecu pin 38 is short
circuited to battery. If so, then rectify the wiring
harness connections.
7. Check ECU; if problem still persists replace ECU.
8. After rectification ensure the following checks
before handing over the vehicle to customer.
a) When pedal is not pressed - Pedal position in
tata diagnostic tool should be less than 5%.
b) When the pedal is fully pressed- Pedal position
in tata diagnostic tool should be more than 95%.
