1. MIL is ON.
2. Engine vibrations and noise.
3. Reduced torque mode activated/ vehicle
lacks performance.
4. Stops the Engine after few seconds;
5. Disables the Pilot Injection; RVD; EGR;
6. Allows the IMV to operate without trim
values;
7. Deactivates the Leak Detection test;
8. Forces the IMV to open fully;
9. Limits the System Pressure demand to
800bar;
10. Deactivates the Rail pressure
sensing/Measurement;
11. Rail Pressure Build measurement is
deactivated;
12. Disables the Rail pressure control fault
detection.
13. Limp Home Mode activated.
1. This DTC gets logged
due to drop in rail pressure.
2. Leak in high pressure
fuel line.
1. Check for Reference
voltage 1 fault or If P1190 is
present.
2. Check High pressure
circuit for fuel leakages.
3. Check sensor connections
for rust dirt etc.
4. Visually check sensor for
damages.
5. Check Electrical continuity.
6. Check ECU.
1. Check adequate fuel is available in the tank.
2. Check there is no air entry in to the low pressure
fuel line.
3. Ensure fuel filter is not clogged.
4. Ensure there is no leakage in the high pressure
fuel line.
5. Check & ensure connector for proper fitment
6. Check for Reference voltage 1 fault or If P1190 is
present; if noticed follow Reference voltage1 check
and rectification Procedure.
7. Check High pressure circuit for fuel leakages; if
noticed rectify leakages by proper
fitment/replacement of component.
8. Check sensor connections for rust; dirt and loose
connection; etc.; if found clean the sensor
connections and ensure proper fitment.
9. Visually check sensor for damages; Follow
Electrical continuity check procedure. Replace/
Rectify Harness if required.
10. Check Electrical continuity between ECU and
rail pressure sensor connector as per circuit
schematic.
11. Replace sensor-rail assembly if damaged or if
problem persists.
12. Check ECU; if problem still persists replace
ECU.
13. After rectification ensure the following before
handing over to customer.
a) Rail pressure at ignition key on is < 10 bar;
b) By removing the rail pressure sensor connector
shows rail pressure value of 800 bar
c) High pressure leak detection test can be carried
out.
d) Please drive the vehicle on road; check and
ensure rail pressure feed-back follows the
demand continuously.

Circuit.
Engine vibration / restricted Fly-up.
Current too high on Bank 1.
1. Check Injectors for OC.
2. Check Injectors for
electrical Fault.
3. Check Electrical Isolation.
4. Check ECU.
1. Correct OC and ensure proper connector fitment.
2. Disconnect all injectors and key on. If problem
persists rectify harness.
3. Else locate faulty injector by connecting one at a
time and checking for fault. Replace faulty injector.
4. Follow Electrical continuity check procedure.
Replace/ Rectify Harness if required.
5. Replace ECU; if problem still persists.
