9. Install the engine oil filler housing and gasket
(2a) and tighten the oil filler housing to cylinder
head cover bolts (2b) to the proper (Torque
Specifications).
10. Remove the tool holder with the cylinder head
top and separate from the holding tool.
11. Install the cylinder head cover (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Cylinder
Head/COVER(S),
Cylinder
Head/Removal and Installation).
H. PISTON
REMOVAL
1. Remove the snap rings (1).
2. Remove the pin (2a) and separate the
connecting rods (2b) from the pistons (2c).
3. Remove piston rings (1a) from the pistons using
a suitable tool (1b).
4. Inspect the connecting rod bushing if the bushing
is out of spec, then replace the connecting rod
(Refer to 09 - Engine/Specifications).
FITMENT
1. Check the alignment of the connecting rods
using suitable equipment; if it is not correct, replace
the connecting rod.
2. Check that the weight difference between the
pistons corresponds to the recommended figures.
