15. Install the intake manifold (1a) complete with
NEW gaskets and tighten the nuts (1b) to the
proper (Torque Specifications).
16. Using a NEW gasket, install the high pressure
EGR manifold and tighten the bolts (1a) and the
nuts (1b) to the proper (Refer to 25 - Emissions
Control/ Exhaust Gas Recirculation/Technical
Specifications).
17. Install the exhaust gas delivery pipe to the
intake manifold in its housing, complete with
gasket, and tighten the intake chamber fixing
screws.
18. Tighten the screws fixing the exhaust gas
delivery pipe to the intake chamber, EGR side.
19. Remove the lower cylinder head from the
support tool and position it on a suitable mounting.
20. Install the exhaust manifold (1a), complete with
a NEW gasket, back in its housing and tighten the
NEW nuts (1b) to the proper (Torque
Specifications).
21. Place the exhaust manifold heat shield in its
housing and tighten the fixing nuts.
