G. CAMSHAFT
REMOVAL
1. Remove the cylinder head cover (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Cylinder Head/COVER(S), Cylinder Head/
Removal and Installation).
2. Position the cylinder head cover (1a) in a vice
and using 1860470000 tool (1b).
3. Remove the bolts (1a) and the oil filler housing
(1b).
4. Remove the gasket.
5. Remove the bolts (2a) and the vacuum pump
(2b).
6. Remove the gasket.
7. Remove the bolt (1a) and the Camshaft Position
(CMP) sensor (1b).
8. Remove the bolt (1a) and the exhaust camshaft
gear (1b).
9. While using holding tool 1871008600 (1a)
remove the intake idler gear bolt (1b).
