U0155-08:- Lost communication with instrument Panel Cluster- IPC Message Time Out Failure

Customer Symptom

Reduced climate control functionality and performance.

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

Reduced climate control functionality and performance

Lamp Status (If Any)

1) The lost communication with IPC DTC 0x C15508 is in active state in fault

memory.

2) The HVAC outputs (motors and compressor request signal) should be

functional using default data values [As mentioned below:

1. Vehicle speed = 0

2. OAT IC Sig = 25DegC ]

3) The lost communication with IPC DTC 0xC15508 is in passive state in fault

memory.

4) The HVAC outputs (motors and compressor request signal) should be respond

to the panel request.

5) CAN communication should be normal.

Fault Detection Condition

Open circuit of the both CAN_H (connector pin no.6) and

CAN_L(connector pin no.6), only CANH, only CANL

Normal Operating

Condition

ECU communicates properly with IPC ECU.

Probable Trouble Area

CAN_H and CAN_L wires

Healing Condition

Reconnection of the CAN_H ( connector pin No.6) and

CAN_L(connector pin no.5)with the main CAN bus
