Customer Symptom
NA
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Unintended behavior of passive entry & passive start i.e. engine
would start even if UID is detected outside of the vehicle,
passive entry won’t possible even if UID is within the wake-up
range of respective door handle switch, engine won’t start even
if UID is detected inside of the vehicle or passive entry is
possible even if UID is outside the wake-up range of respective
door handle switch.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This DTC will get logged on ECU power ON if vehicle
calibration is found missing inside the ECU.
OR
At IGN ON PEPS checks whether the vehicle calibration is
done or not, if not done then PEPS logs this DTC.
Normal Operating Condition
1. At power ON or IGN ON, no DTC is logged by ECU.
2. Passive entry & passive start works only if UID is detected
within the specified / defined range of the vehicle (inside as
well as outside of the vehicle).
Probable Trouble Area
PEPS ECU
Healing Condition
Ignition Transition:- IGN OFF
IGN ON.
On IGN ON during UID authentication no DTC is logged by
PEPS.
