Start
Connect the Diagnostic Tool & check for DTCs
Is DTC B1F08 – 12
logged by routine?
STOP
NO
1. Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)
B1F08 – 12 : Illumination Level Switch - Circuit Short to Battery

Check continuity between BCM connector
pin
[C4 - 50]
and BCM battery
[C3-2/C3-1]
.
Continuity found?
Correct BCM side wiring
harness.(Short to battery)
YES
NO
Check BCM & Illumination switch
connectors for terminal backout
Are any connectors
loose
Reconnect connectors firmly
