Customer Symptom
Cockpit illumination does not respond to input
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Cockpit illumination does not respond to input.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine
execution. User has to operate the switch manually during
routine. If short to ground or open circuit fault is detected for
Illumination Level Switch then this DTC code will be returned
with the Routine results.
Normal Operating Condition
There should not be any fault returned by routine.
Probable Trouble Area
1. 1. BCM connector Fault.
2. 2. Harness issue.
3. 3. Switch fault.
4. 4. ECU fault.
Healing Condition
1. 1. Give ignition cycle after fault removal
2. 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged

Interior illumination intensity varies when this switch is operated.
Preliminary Checks:

Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2.
Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
