B2267 – 09: Emergency HW Path Failure (Brake Lamps / Position Lamps / Low Beam output) –

Component Failures

Customer Symptom

Brake Lamps / Position Lamps / Low Beam Lamps will

not work.

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

Brake Lamps / Position Lamps / Low Beam Lamps will

not work.

Lamp Status (If Any)

OFF

Fault Detection Condition

BCM log this fault when emergency hardware

path(lights) fails. ( May be stuck / short to ground / short

to Battery)

Normal Operating Condition

After execution of input switch test routine this DTC

should not be returned with routine result.

Probable Trouble Area

1. BCM connector Fault

2. Switch damaged

3. BCM ECU faulty

Healing Condition

1. Ignition OFF

ON

2. Clear DTC Command

Component Details:

Brake Lamp comes ON when brake pedal switch is ON.

Position Lamp and Low Beam should be ON when combination switch is ON for respective lamps.

Preliminary Checks:

1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above)

2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
