START
Check DTC present is Permanent or Historic
Is History?
Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)
1. Clear the DTC from memory
2. Turn the IGN to OFF
3. Start the IGN
Is DTC B2501-
12 present?
Check Relay NO &
NC connectivity
Replace Relay
NO shorted
NC open
Yes
Check BCM and Horn relay connectors for
terminal backout
Are connectors
loose?
Reconnect
connectors firmly
NO open
NC shorted
1.Remove BCM side wiring harness
Connector.
2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins
bent or damaged etc.
Yes
No

Is connector
faulty?
Yes
Is DTC B2501-
12 present?
Yes
Correct connector fault
