Correct BCM side wiring harness

(Short To Ground)

Check continuity between BCM connector pin

[C1-29]

and BCM ground pin

[ C1-34/ C1-476]

1. Take out the relay from its mounting base.

2. Check the continuity between the two

terminals of relay coil.

Is Relay

faulty?

Replace with the correct and

working Relay

YES

B1609 - 14: Door Lock Relay - Circuit Short to Ground or Open

1.Remove door lock relay mating connector

2. Perform the visual check of connectors for pin

bend or damaged etc.
