B160F - 11: Driver Door Lock Signal - Circuit Short to Ground
START
Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the
switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification.
Is DTC B160F – 11
logged by Routine?
Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)
Check connection between BCM and
Master Actuator lock signal pin
Are connectors
loose?
Correct connector fault
(Terminals Bend)
1.Remove BCM Connector.
2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged
Is connector faulty?
STOP
1. Unlock the vehicle
2. Check continuity between BCM connector pin
[C1-8]
Harness side) with Ground
[C1-34/C1-47]
Continuity Found?
1. Remove Driver door master actuator
2.Perform visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged
Reconnect connectors firmly
Actuator Faulty?
Correct Connector fault

Check if Driver door lock signal input[wiring harness
side] is shorted to ground
[C095-5].
Correct
Driver Door master actuator
side wiring harness
(Short to Ground)
1. Lock and then Unlock the vehicle using RKE or internal
knob
Check if Unlocking
action is successful?
Reconnect all connectors firmly

Correct BCM side wiring harness
( Short to Ground)
Continuity Found?
YES
NO
NO
Connect battery and other connectors of BCM ECU, if disconnected.
BCM ECU Faulty
Replace BCM ECU
