Fluid Drain & Oil Pan Removing Procedure

1. Place Vehicle on Hoist.

• Transmission Selector in Park Position –P

• Ignition “OFF”

2. Lift vehicle to access Transmission.

3. Remove the main transmission protection.

NOTE:

The automatic transmission fluid may flow out the

oil pan. Put a container under transmission drain

hole.

4. Place a suitable drain pan under the

transmission.

5. Wait for transmission fluid to reach ambient

temperature.

6. Loose the Oil Pan Overfill Plug.

7. Inspect the O-ring seal and plug. If used,

discard the plug.

8. If the fluid is flowing as a steady stream, wait

until the fluid begins to drip.

9. Loosen the 17 Oil Pan bolts by using a

hexagonal M10 wrench.

10. Remove the Oil Pan and the gasket.

Important:

Inspect fluid pan sealing surface.

The gasket is a controlled compression over

molded reusable gasket.

Oil pan filled with 6Ltr oil.
