4. Expand long ends of the snap ring by using
snap ring plier
(2870 5890 26 03)
5. Remove the input shaft assembly from the
adapter case.
6. Remove snap ring by using screw driver.
7. Take out the input shaft assembly from carrier
assembly along with bearing.
8. Pull out the annular ball bearing with suitable
puller from input shaft.
9. Remove the thrust washer from input shaft.
