INSTALLATION
1 Insert push rods in their respective positions
(if marked for identification).
2 Clean base of rocker shaft brackets and their seats
on cylinder head and fit rocker shaft assembly on
cylinder head and tighten bracket mounting bolts
slightly. Before tightening rocker shaft bracket
bolts, see that ball pins are loosened to prevent
undue pressure on push rods and that rocker shaft
mounting bolts with threaded heads are fitted in
correct positions for cylinder head cover
mounting.
3 Tighten rocker shaft bracket mounting bolts to
specified torque. Fig. 5.
4 Adjust valve clearance in cold condition.
