Align retainer plate in Reverse Idler gear collar,

simultaneously locating its pin in housing. Tighten hex

screw along with spring washer in the housing. Ref

Fit linear bearing in the housing - Front, if removed

earlier.

Place drive shaft. Ref fig. 119

Apply shellac and put gasket over housing parting

surface. Place gear box housing - Front over the rear

half aligning dowel pins and gently tap it with mallet.

Put hex nuts along with plain and spring washer.

Tighten all nuts evenly. Ref Fig. 120
