Press dowel pins to bearing tube, if removed earlier.

Fit bearing tube to the cover.

Push in oil seal with help of drift

Fit oil seal with the help of drift, part No 2654 5890 26

07 and handle 2640 5890 35 11.

Fill 3% grease Mo S2 320 in the pocket between main

lip and dust lip of oil seal.

Keep speedo drive gear inside the cavity then push in

speedo shaft such that cable end goes towards

tapped hole side.

Fit oil seal - speedo shaft in the threaded plug - speedo

shaft keeping lip side outwards. Tighten plug in the

housing.

Press plug - speedo drive in housing from other side.

Ensure gap of 1 mm between plug face to speedo

shaft end.
