REMOVAL OF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER:
WARNING
Remove the key from key barrel. This is
necessary to ensure proper initialization of
Instrument Cluster Parameters like Odometer
value learning from Immobilizer and DTCs in
other ECUs against Instrument Cluster.
Removing Instrument Cluster with Key IN is
strictly prohibited otherwise it will corrupt the
odometer value.
1. Remove cluster hood gently from its position
by using screw driver.
2. Remove steering wheel. Refer “Removal &
refitment of steering wheel" from Steering
Section.
3. Remove steering nacelle. Refer “Removal &
Refitment of steering nacelle" from Steering
Section.
4. Carefully pull the steering column upper cover.
5. Lower steering column from top mounting to
access lower mounting of Instrument cluster.
(Refer Steering section).
6. Loosen the lower mounting screw of the
instrument cluster.
NOTE:
Only loose screws and keep in their position, Do
not take out.
7. Now remove the upper mounting screws of
the instrument cluster.
