6.13.6 REMOVAL
OF
PARKING
BRAKE
LEVER
1. Position the car in the two post lift.
2. Place the Parking Brake in Fully released
position as shown below.
3. Remove the Primary cable of the Parking
Brake lever from the Equalizer connected to
Parking Brake Cables.
4. Lower the car back to down. Remove Bottle
Holder and center console located in the
cabin.
5. Unscrew the Cable Guide mounting bolts.
6. Disconnect the electrical connection to parking
brake lever.
7. Unscrew 2 Top mounting bolts and 1 side
mounting bolt of Parking Brake lever and take
out the Assembly.
8. After removing the Parking Brake Lever, lift the
car up.
