6.4 DIAGNOSIS

SPONGY BRAKE PEDAL

BRAKE ROUGH OR CHATTERON APPLICATION

Check run out, repair or replace drum as

Identify the trouble in Servo and rectify

Piston in calipers stuck or sluggish

Remove caliper and overhaul

Fading brake due to non recommended grade of

brake pads pads

Replace with approved grade of brake

Kinked, dented or clogged bundy pipes hoses

Identify and Replace

Binding pedal linkage

Lubricate and free up the system

Vacuum leakage through hose replace vacuum

Check the hose connections if required
