D. THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

1. Drain the coolant.

(Refer “Coolant Replacement

Procedure).

2. Remove Air Filter assembly.

(Refer “Air Filter

Removal Procedure).

3. Remove CCC assembly from the vehicle.

(Refer

“CCC Removal Procedure).

4. Remove the spring band clip (1) and disconnect

the hose (2) and remove the cover mounting bolts

(3).

5. Remove the thermostat element from the hous-

ing. Replace the gasket while refitting.

FITMENT:

For fitment follow the reverse order of

removal. Tighten fasteners to the recommended

torque.

Thermostat cover mounting: M8 nut– (2.2 + 0.3 Kg-

m)
