3. Apply the thread locker ‘Antiseze Thread
Compound Qualilub-1001’ to bolts of exhaust
assembly support bracket of gear box housing
Align the bolts to gear box housing and hand
tighten it.
4. Fit the clinch nuts (nos. 4) of exhaust
assembly to cylinder head studs and tighten it
as per specified torque (19.6 ± 5 Nm).
5. Fit the all three nuts of silencer pipe flange to
exhaust system assembly and tighten it as per
specified torque (21.56 ± 2 Nm).
6. Tighten the bolts of exhaust assembly support
bracket to gear box housing as per specified
torque (19.6 ± 5 Nm).
7. Align and fit the heat shield to exhaust
assembly, fix the all three flange nuts and
tighten it as per specified torque (10.78 ± 2
Nm).
